Karen was born and raised in Miami, FL. She moved up North for college, then to New York City for graduate school to become a school teacher. She has many interests and hobbies which include reading, exercising, jogging, bike riding, playing tennis, swimming and cooking. Being that she grew up in Florida, she loves outdoor activities, particularly when the weather is warm. When Karen was a teacher, she taught kindergarten and first grade for several years in New York City. She truly was an amazing teacher and has brought so much of that talent to our family life at home. Karen is now a stay at home mom with our twin boys who are nine years old. She has been home with them since their birth. Karen is a wonderful, nurturing mother who loves being with the children as they grow and learn so much in life. Karen enjoys taking the boys to school and all their different activities. Karen would be ecstatic to have a new baby join our family!
Michael was born and raised in Long Beach, NY. After college, he worked in the financial world in New York City, while at the same time receiving a masters degree in business. Michael is an extremely hard worker. He is successful at his job and dedicated to his career and co-workers as they have worked and built their business together. Michael continues to work in finance, and he enjoys teaching the boys many of the mathematical skills he uses on a day to day basis. Most of all, Michael is a loving and wonderful husband and father. He is a fun-loving person who has a great sense of humor. Michael has so many great interests that he shares with Zachary and Jacob. Amongst these include teaching the boys sports, such as lacrosse, basketball, baseball and golf. He also enjoys working on puzzles with the boys and teaching them about the world through globes and maps. Michael has so much room in his heart to share all the joys and his love for life with a new baby in our family!
